Privacy Policy
Effective date: July 9, 2026 · Galbraith LLC, Carrollton, Ohio, USA
This Privacy Policy describes how Galbraith LLC (“Galbraith,” “we,” “us”) handles information in connection with the business-operations application hosted at galbraith.llc (the “Application”), which serves Galbraith LLC and its Galbraith Trucking, JG Trucking, Self Storage rental unit, customer care, support, and related Galbraith business operations, and its integration with Intuit QuickBooks Online.
1. Who this Application is for
The Application is used by authorized personnel to operate Galbraith LLC business functions, including dispatch, staffing, payroll, self storage rentals, customer care, support, and related administrative workflows for Galbraith Trucking, JG Trucking, the Self Storage rental unit, and related Galbraith business operations. Access is restricted by login and by role.
2. The QuickBooks Online connection
When an authorized administrator connects the Application to our company’s QuickBooks Online account, the Application uses Intuit’s OAuth 2.0 authorization. We request only the Accounting scope, which we use to create and send customer invoices and to read the related accounting records needed to do so (for example, customers, items, and invoice status).
- The data accessed belongs to our own company’s QuickBooks account.
- We do not access QuickBooks data of any other business.
- We store the OAuth tokens needed to maintain the connection on our server, outside the public web root, and use them only to perform the actions above.
3. Information we handle
Through the Application and its QuickBooks integration we handle business records such as customer and vendor names and contact details, invoice and billing data, and related financial information. We may also handle employee, driver, and contractor records for our HR, dispatch, and payroll operations, and limited contact information for customers, self storage prospects, tenants, renters, and support contacts who reach us. We do not collect personal information from the general public for advertising.
4. How we use information
- To create, send, and track customer invoices in QuickBooks Online.
- To display the company’s own financial and operational information to authorized staff.
- To operate, secure, maintain, and troubleshoot the Application.
We do not sell, rent, or share this information with third parties for their own marketing or other purposes. We do not use QuickBooks data for advertising.
4a. SMS / text messaging
Galbraith LLC and its Galbraith Trucking, JG Trucking, Self Storage rental unit, customer care, support, and related Galbraith business operations may collect mobile phone numbers and SMS consent records from employees, staff, drivers, contractors, applicants, customers, self storage prospects, tenants, renters, authorized contacts, and support contacts. We use this information to send operational and customer-care messages, including dispatch, scheduling, safety or weather alerts, payroll and timekeeping reminders, staff notices, recruiting or application follow-up, onboarding, customer service, storage rental notices, access instructions, invoice and payment reminders, maintenance updates, support messages, and links to Galbraith business forms or documents.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
We do not sell, rent, or share mobile phone numbers or SMS opt-in information with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile numbers and SMS consent are used only to operate Galbraith’s messaging program and related business communications. Messaging providers such as Twilio process messages on our behalf.
Full details, including how to opt out, are in our SMS / Text Messaging Terms & Consent; the exact opt-in wording is on our SMS consent example page.
5. How information is protected
- All traffic to and from the Application is encrypted in transit using HTTPS/TLS.
- Access is gated by user login, and sensitive (PII / financial) areas are further restricted to HR and executive roles.
- OAuth credentials and secrets are stored server-side, outside the publicly served directory.
- Access is limited to personnel who need it to perform their duties.
6. Data retention
We retain business and financial records for as long as needed to operate the business and to meet legal, tax, and regulatory recordkeeping obligations, after which they are deleted or archived.
7. Disconnecting / your choices
An authorized administrator may disconnect the QuickBooks integration at any time from within QuickBooks Online (Apps → Manage / Disconnect) or by contacting us. Disconnecting stops further data access and revokes the stored tokens.
8. Third parties
The Application integrates with Intuit QuickBooks Online; your use of QuickBooks is also governed by Intuit’s own terms and privacy policy. We may use reputable hosting and infrastructure providers to operate the Application; they process data only on our behalf.
9. Changes
We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date above.
